"Am i not a man, nor a brother?"
This to me represents a fight for human struggle. It is a very tragic piece and it sums up the problems that African Americans have had since they were enslaved and brought over here originally. “Am I not a man or a brother?” It gets down further below than what meets the eyes. The fight for human struggle still continues till this day, its how we strive and rise above from it to never let this type of hatred happen again. We can tell that this man is struggle for his freedom and his rights, with the signs of entanglement by the shackles, we see that man is struggled to have his voice heard. The black and white do not help the situation at atll. To me black and white are two colors that when together, do not give off the right suggestion.
